What is Amperes Tests?

Amperes Tests is a benchmarking platform developed by CrioSoft that measures the charging performance of iOS devices. Users run the Amperes app on their iPhone or iPad to measure the electrical current (in milliamps) and power (in watts) delivered by their charger.

Results are uploaded to this dashboard where they can be compared across devices, chargers, and conditions. This helps users determine the most effective charging setup for their device.

To test your device and submit your score, use one of the CrioSoft battery testing apps available on theApple App Store.

Amperes (mA) Electrical current measured during charging
Watts Power delivered to the device
Position % How a result ranks vs. all tests for that device
Quick Charge Tests at ≤50% battery (optimal charging zone)
Performance Gauge

The performance gauge on the test details page shows where a test result falls relative to all other tests for the same device type:

  • 0% – 20% — Below average charging performance
  • 20% – 80% — Average charging performance
  • 80% – 100% — Excellent charging performance
